Tyler is a Northwest native who grew up in Gresham, Oregon. He picked up the bass guitar at the age of 17. The minute he turned 21 he hopped around Portland attending various blues jams. Tyler soon found himself working with a variety of musical groups playing rock, blues, r&b, and country.

John met Tyler through a blues jam hosted by Portland’s very own Lady Kat. After Ryan Marquardt stepped down as Beltaine’s bassist, it only seemed natural to bring Tyler, Marquardt’s childhood friend, on board. Tyler is thrilled to be a member of Beltaine. He loves performing great tunes that aren’t commonly heard on commercial radio as well as creating joyful originals that will move listeners to smile and dance.
